Rene Marie Russo was an American actress, director and supermodel. The elegant beauty of Rene Marie is reflected in her lengthy career as a performer and actress. When she was a model in her early years, she first began modeling in the 70s. Her popularity quickly grew in the modeling industry. At the beginning of 1990, she began studying theatre and acting. Rose Namajunas has been one of UFC's most prominent female athletes. Her first fight was as an amateur fighter, competing in different regional promotions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her on and later she signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. Since joining the UFC She has gained a name in the sport due her achievements both inside and outside of the Octagon. Namajunas is the name of a Lithuanian born American born on June 29, 1991 at Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rose was a kickboxer and basketball player while growing up. At 18 years old she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships where she fought two times through submission. The fights caught the eye of Dana White who signed her to be a part of the UFC Strawweight at the age of 22 years old. The career of Rose has been full of highs as well as lows and she's capable of coming out of the fight in the top position. Rose took on Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Title and also won the title of Fighter of the Night. It was the very first time a woman competed against a major promotion for a championship.
